Mat Pilates Workout

In my absence over the summer I thought it would be a good idea to write out a little list of mat exercises you are all familiar with to practise at home. If you can do this short, 10-15 minute mat sequence 3 x a week alongside your weekly mat class you will be sure to keep yourself in great shape and injury free over the summer. The exercises below should be familiar to all my regular clients. I recommend practising in the set sequence I have listed below. If you are unfamiliar with the exercises below, please don’t hesitate to contact me. If any exercises give you any discomfort please stop the exercise immediately.

The hundred
Roll back
Roll up
Single leg circle
Single leg stretch 
Double leg stretch 
Single leg lowers
Criss cross
Spine stretch forward
Tic Toc
Spine curls
Side lying legs
Roll downs
